You should know how to puppy proof your home before you bring your new friend into your place. You should make sure that your home will be a safe place for him, and the first thing that you should do is to secure all of the doors and windows. You don’t want your little, furry friend to escape without your notice, so you will need to know that the place is secure. Another important thing for you to do is to make sure that your puppy will not be getting into any cleaning supplies or other chemicals that you may have sitting around. Put them up high and away from your puppy’s reach, so that nothing bad will happen because of them.
Keep your shoes in a safe place if you are worried about your puppy getting into them, and also make sure that anything else that is of value that is low to the ground now is picked up before you bring your puppy home. You don’t want your little guy getting into your things, and you don’t want him to be in danger. Bring him home to a place that has been puppy proofed, and you will feel great about that.
