Summer is here and it’s time to enjoy the weather and do all the things you and your dog love to do. But not everything is dog-friendly per se, so it can be difficult to accommodate your furry best friend. Here are some ideas of things to do and places to go that both you and fido will love.
1. Camping –
Camping is a great way to get away from the commotion of today’s electronic-oriented life. It is also a great way to spend quality time with your dog. They have expansive areas to explore, obstacles to tackle, and a thousand new scents to take in. Many campsites allow pets and accommodating dogs in a campsite is as easy as bringing a bowl for eating and drinking.
2. Beach –
The beach is another great way to spend time with your dog. Relax by beach and soak up some rays will your dog splashes in the waves or digs furiously in the sand. Not all beaches are entirely pet friendly and make require a leash, but with a bit of research, you could be at your nearest leash-free beach in no time.
3. The Biltmore, Asheville, NC
The Biltmore Estate is a lovely place to visit in the mountains of North Carolina. Beautiful gardens, stunning views, and pet friendly! Just miles from many great hiking and camping locations as well as downtown Asheville, which offers boutique shopping and a large selection of local beer.
